About
ASKER Studio was created in Florence during the 90's by architects EFISIO ONALI and SALVATORE FRESI. Arch. Onali's experience in environmental projecting request by EEC and AMBIENTE ITALIA and Fresi's experience in architectural design and construction for tourism provide the Studio with a wide spectrum of information.
From 1993 to 2007 the firm has hired numerous employees with specific expertise in fields such as engineering, architectural and agronomy to construct several hotels and tourist complexes in Costa Smeralda, exporting this philosophy of architectural tourism throughout Sardinia, Campania, Tuscany, Sicily and Trentino Alto Adige.
The success of this initiative has highlighted the planning of environmentally friendly architecture finding a proper place in tourist facilities, even in the different realities throughout Italy and the world.
From 2002, the Studio plans and constructs tourist complexes nationally and internationally, wherever the Mediterranean architecture blends in with the traditions, creating a unique tourist spot for moments of nature, sport and relaxation.
Architecture and Planning
The staff has recently produced sixty Villas, eight residential centers in Sardinia, Sicily, Campania, three tourists villages, two commercial centers.
They supervised the renovation of 4 hotels in Costa Smeralda and 11 projects for four and five stars hotels, two restaurants, two rural tourist facilities, multipurpose centers and gymnasiums.
Construction consist of an equestrian center that hosts events in international polo games, heliports, wharves and storage sheds for yachts and smaller boats.
The Studio has followed the restructuring of some historic buildings in Arzachena, Olbia, Porto Cervo, Tempio, Sassari, Luras, Madonna di Campiglio and Salvador de Bahia (Brazil) as well as numerous buildings of the sixties originally designed by architects Vietti, Busiri Vici, P. Sneck and several others. Today under construction are: a tourist village in Brazil and two new urban plannings in Sardinia.

Arch. Efisio Onali
Graduated in Architecture from University of Florence, grade 110/110 with national publication of Thesis.
Courses and internships in Urbanism, Planning and Bioclimatic at IUAV in Venice, CNR in Rome,, D.U.P.T. in Florence.
At the end of the 1980s, in Florence, he began working in the field of Architecture and Environmental Planning;
in 1993 founds Studio Asker, which deals with Urban Planning and residential and tourist construction; his projects are present in 5 countries; collaborates today with well-known international firms in the creation of complexes and tourist villages.
In 2000 he founded Altea Engineering SRL, a property management, consulting, architecture and engineering company, specializing in, among other things, Due Diligence for well-known international brands .He has public administrative experience in the field of Planning, Public Works and Environment. Studies and projects are published in four books and several specialized journals.
Arch. Salvatore Fresi
Graduated in Architecture from the University of Florence, grade 110/110 with honor Introducing a thesis on the architecture of the Emerald Coast. In 1992 he founded, with arch. Onali, Studio Asker, specializing in residential and tourist construction, in Italy and abroad. His projects involve renovations of historic buildings, construction of hotels and residences, shopping centers and public works. Arch. Fresi works, today, in the planning of hotels and villas for an international clientele. Projects are published in various specialist magazines.

In addition to several articles published in newspapers and monthly national relating to the themes of urbanism and architecture, Arch. Onali collaborated in the drafting of the book:
